The Challenge
Atmos Energy is one of the largest natural gas distributors in the United States, a company with 5,000 employees spread across multiple states, dozens of operational divisions, and a brand that needs to show up consistently everywhere, every time.
Keeping branded merchandise accessible, on-brand, and operationally simple at that scale is genuinely hard. One-off requests create chaos. Inconsistent sourcing creates brand drift. Manual fulfillment creates delays. Atmos Energy needed a better solution, one that could grow with the company, adapt to changing needs, and never require their internal team to become merchandise experts.

Our Approach
BLP built and continues to manage the Atmos Energy Employee Store, a dedicated branded merchandise destination designed specifically for Atmos employees to log in, browse, and order approved company gear on demand.
The store is organized for speed and clarity across multiple categories, including apparel, headwear, drinkware, office items, and a dedicated “Need It Now” section, fast-moving essentials kept in stock at BLP’s Garland, Texas, fulfillment center and ready to ship immediately without minimum order requirements or production lead times.
Beyond the “Need It Now” inventory, the broader catalog is supported through BLP’s supply chain partner network, merchandise produced on demand and shipped directly to the employee, keeping inventory lean and program costs efficient.
The store runs on a modern e-commerce platform, giving Atmos Energy a familiar, intuitive shopping experience, category browsing, wishlists, and a standard cart flow, while BLP manages the complexity behind the scenes so the internal team never has to.
Every year, BLP conducts a full store refresh, updating products, retiring discontinued items, and ensuring the catalog stays current with Atmos Energy’s brand standards and employee needs. In April 2026, BLP will launch a completely redesigned storefront, a new chapter in a partnership that has never stopped evolving.
