The Challenge
A week before faceoff, the 2025 Texas High School Lacrosse League State Championships moved to Dallas. Highland Park volunteered to host the tournament at Highlander Stadium on short notice, and with the venue came a problem: no merch program, no storefront, no retail plan, and five state title games arriving in days.
Most tournament merchandise programs are planned months out. This one had days from the first conversation to the opening whistle. Highland Park’s staff knew who to call. They needed a partner that could design tournament artwork, produce shirts, build an event pop-up store, and staff onsite event retail inside the stadium, all at once.
That’s where BLP came in, as the official merchandise provider for the 2025 State Championships.
Our Approach
BLP runs a 25,000 square foot production and fulfillment center in Garland, 20 minutes from the stadium. That proximity, plus in-house design and decoration, made a one-week launch possible.
In under a week, BLP:
- Designed the official 2025 State Championships mark and applied it across custom tournament merchandise for fans, families, and players
- Printed the official tournament shirts in-house ahead of championship weekend
- Built and launched a BLP-managed online pop-up store for tournament and championship gear
- Set up and staffed a merchandise booth inside Highlander Stadium and ran onsite event retail throughout the two-day tournament, May 10 and 11, 2025
Then the games decided the second half of the program. When the finals ended, five schools were state champions: Highland Park (Class AA), St. Mark’s (Class A), Dallas Jesuit B (Class B), Plano East (Class C), and Guyer (Class D).
The morning after the finals, the pop-up store flipped from tournament gear to champion gear: t-shirts, hoodies, and caps for each classification, co-branded with the winning school’s lacrosse logo alongside the official championship mark. The store opened Monday, May 12, 2025 and stayed live for one week while orders came in from across Texas.
When the window closed, BLP accumulated every order, produced and decorated the full run, then picked, packed, and shipped each package to the individual customer from its Garland fulfillment center.

Solution & Outcome
The tournament got an official merchandise program that looked and ran like it had been planned for months: official gear on fans in the stands both days, and champion collections for all five classifications shipped direct to doorsteps the week after the trophies were handed out.
Every online order shipped from BLP’s Garland facility, the same operation that ships 100,000+ packages a year at 99.8% pick accuracy.
The model proved out end to end: with local production and fulfillment under one roof, sports event merchandise in Texas can go from phone call to stadium booth to shipped champion gear in days, not months. It is the same playbook BLP ran for the Highland Park Touchdown Club, this time at tournament speed.
“Bob Lilly Promotions stepped in and stepped up in a big way to get the Texas State tournament shop and gear ready on extremely short notice. They did a great job.”
